VeniceIt's father was invovled in that parking lot scandal....that's the reason he, his wife, and Rachel got out!
i decided this needed its own post.
in the late eighties/early nineties i was one of those guys outside the tacoma dome, a subject that came up in at least two recent threads.
at the time i was newly out, and i felt that i needed to make a statment.

how many here believe that we all have a soulmate somewhere in this world that is especially for us, or do you believe that the person we happen to fall in love with becomes our soul mate?
Lew,
I'm really happy for you! I'm glad you found someone to make your heart fly!!!
Maverick,
I also agree with you on timing.....it's everything. Sounds like you and I have played the same "games". I've met some very nice men, but during those times we just weren't emotionally "available" for each other.
I agree with all of your viewpoints. I tend to believe there must be more than one Soul Mate, but only a few who you can really have a life with. In the mean time, I don't plan to sit around and wait for him to knock on my door! I'm enjoying myself!

Heathen,
I believe you can have good sex with a lot of people, just depends on how comfortable and confident you are with yourself. I'm a firm believer of this! That part is easy. But, I'm talking about a person that accepts you for who you are and doesn't try to change you. A soul mate would be someone who understands your point of view without trying to change it. They would be with you on the same level and stand by you, but still allow your independence. They would be your strength where you are weak....
Sphere,
Maybe it is just about a really, really good relationship.
Sheila,
I've read your posts about Thunder....I think that's awesome!! You are very very lucky!!

I have been very wrong in the past as well. I think it's best not to look and just let nature take it's course. What will be will be I suppose. I've been told that it just happens when we least expect it. I choose to enjoy my life and let life just take it's course, but I still ponder on the thought of a "soul mate"....
anyone live there or been there?
is it great?
i am going for a week in february for a little r & r and really looking forward to it.
How fun...I'm jealous!!! I've never been to Mexico, but I sure hope to one day. Being a Latina, I should dig into my roots sometime soon.

Sloan,
IF...is the key word. I tend to believe we have many as well, but that doesn't mean we will ever find one. I may be wrong...
so that they'll take you off the dnc list and visit again?
